September 29, 2026

Introducing: Empowered Workforce

The Bismarck Mandan Chamber EDC is excited to announce the launch of Empowered Workforce, a new professional development program designed to help individuals grow their skills, confidence and impact in the workplace.

This cohort-based program combines leadership development, emotional intelligence, communication, and other essential soft skills with practical business knowledge that participants can immediately apply in their day-to-day roles. By blending personal and professional growth, Empowered Workforce equips participants with the tools they need to succeed at every stage of their career.

"Workforce development is a key priority for the Chamber EDC," said Mel Hammons, Workforce Development Coordinator. "As the needs of employers continue to evolve, it is critical that we provide opportunities for individuals to develop the skills necessary to thrive professionally and contribute to the long-term success of their organizations."

Designed for professionals at every level, Empowered Workforce offers valuable learning opportunities for those just beginning their careers as well as experienced employees looking to strengthen their leadership abilities and business acumen. Through interactive sessions, real-world application, and peer collaboration, participants will build skills that can be immediately put into practice in the workplace.
