2026 Celebrate Bismarck-Mandan Nominations

We’re proud to recognize the outstanding businesses and organizations that are truly moving business forward in Bismarck-Mandan. Each nominee should represent the innovation, dedication, and community spirit that make our region thrive. Award recipients will be recognized at the 2026 Celebrate Bismarck-Mandan event on Thursday, September 24 at the Bismarck Event Center.

Nominations are open through July 15.

Golden Eagle Award

Qualifications:

  • The Golden Eagle will be awarded to a Chamber EDC Member who has an active record of military support in the Bismarck-Mandan area.
  • The purpose of the award is to recognize those in support of the military through involvement and business interaction.
  • Cannot have won in the last 10 years.
  • Please tell us how this business demonstrates support for the military.

Small Business of the Year Award

  • Chamber EDC member
  • Under 50 full-time employees (32 hours a week) in Bismarck-Mandan region
  • Must be someone who has never won before.

    • Increase in sales and /or unit volume

Unsung Hero Award

Unsung Hero Award Nomination Form

Qualifications:

  • Business in which the employee works at must be a Chamber EDC member.
  • This award is designed to give acknowledgement to an individual who often doesn’t receive external recognition for their dedication in providing excellent customer service. Example positions include: Retail Sales Associate, Server/Wait Staff, Cashier, Shelf Stocker, Barista, etc.
  • Nominee must hold a non-owner or non-executive position in the business for which they are nominated
  • Qualified individuals consistently show warmth of welcome, go above and beyond to help colleagues or customers, and exemplifies high customer service within their industry.

Granite Award

  • Must be a Chamber EDC member for the last 5 years or the last 5 years in business life.
  • 50 years in business in Bismarck-Mandan (business may have changed ownership or name).
  • Must be someone who has never won before.
  • Must be involved in community activities

Community Bridge Award

Community Bridge Award Nomination Form

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Chamber EDC Member with non-profit status
  • Must have been operating in the Bismarck-Mandan area for at least 2 years
  • Must be someone who has never won this award before
  • Organizations of all sizes may apply
  • Please tell us how this nonprofit demonstrates
    • Mission impact and effectiveness in serving as a bridge to meet critical needs in the Bismarck-Mandan community
    • Innovation in bridging gaps when addressing community needs or challenge
    • Building bridges through volunteer engagement and fostering community involvement
    • Creating sustainable pathways through responsible funding strategies and financial stewardship
    • Connecting across sectors through collaboration with other organizations or businesses in the community
