Experience a Little Las Vegas in Mandan

Annual Junior Achievement fundraiser will turn Mandan Eagles from club to casino

Junior Achievement of Bismarck-Mandan (JA) invites the community to experience a little bit of Las Vegas on Friday, May 18 at the Mandan Eagles Club on North Collins Avenue. The non-profit organization, which educates local students about economics, finances and entrepreneurism, will turn the club into a lively casino floor.

One of two major fundraisers for JA, all proceeds from Casino Night will help JA equip volunteers with educational materials to teach area youth about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy.

Casino Night opens with a 6 p.m. social. Gaming, which includes blackjack, poker, roulette and more will start at 7 p.m. Tickets are available in advance at the Bismarck-Mandan Chamber of Commerce, located at 1640 Burnt Boat Dr. in Bismarck, by calling 223-5660 or visiting www.bismanja.org. Tickets also may be purchased at the door. Players have the opportunity to win big through a raffle that includes a 55" LED TV and new iPad or by the bucket auction that features, a Harley Davidson mirror, golf passes, Raging Rivers season passes, plenty of gift baskets and more.
